The USDA also states that a medium ear of corn weighs around 100 g. About 21 g are carbohydrates, just over 3 g are proteins and another 1.5 g are fats. The remainder consists of indigestible matter, water and other nutrients

Sweet corn also contains several important vitamins, including vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate and pantothenic acid. Dietary minerals, such as magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and manganese, are also available in sweet corn.
