Females between 19 and 25 need ,2000 daily calories, 26- to 50-year-olds need 1,800 daily calories and women 51 and older need 1,600 calories each day.
Moderatly Active Lifestyle
Moderately active individuals get an 30 to 60 minutes of activity each day in addition to their regular, daily routine, Get Fit Tennessee calculates. Males in this category aged 19 to 25 should consume 2,800 calories each day, those 26 to 45 should consume 2,600 calories each day, men 46 to 65 should get 2,400 calories each day and those 66 and older should consume 2,200 calories daily. Females aged 19 to 25 should get 2,200 calories each day, those 26 to 50 should consume 2,000 calories and women 51 years and older should consume 1,800 calories daily.
Active Lifestyle
Active individuals get 60 or more minutes of moderate activity each day in addition to their normal routine, Get Fit Tennessee explains. Males in this category aged 19 to 35 should consume 3,000 calories each day, those from 36 to 55 should consume 2,800 calories, men 56 to 75 should consume 2,600 calories each day and those older than 75 should get 2,400. Females aged 19 to 30 in this class need 2,400 calories each day, those 31 to 60 years should consume 2,200 calories each day and women 61 years and older should get 2,000 calories each day.
