Calories in Act II Light Popcorn

Act II is a brand of ConAgra Foods, one of the largest packaged food manufacturers in North America. The Act II line includes microwave popcorn varieties such as Butter, Kettle Korn, Buttery Cinnamon and Light.

Light Popcorn

The Act II Light Butter popcorn contains 50 percent less fat and 30 percent fewer calories than the regular variety. The serving size for Act II popcorn is 1 cup, popped. In the Light Butter variety, there are 15 calories, 3 carbohydrates, 1 g of fiber, 1 g of protein, no fat and no sugars.

Regular Popcorn

In comparison, the regular Act II Butter popcorn contains 25 calories in 1 cup, popped. There are 2 g of fat, including 1 g of saturated fat. The regular variety also has 4 total carbohydrates, 1 g of fiber, no sugars and no protein.

Other Nutritional Information

Many people like popcorn because it is tasty and doesn't contain a large amount of calories. However, it is not a significant source of nutrients. According to Act II, all its popcorn products are free of trans fat, excluding Carmel Corn.
