Nutrition
Sweet Tarts are fat free and sodium free. They do, however, contain a good deal of sugar, at 13 g per serving for traditional Sweet Tarts and 7 g per serving for the large, chewy variety, which is only one piece of candy. The American Heart Association suggests that women consume no more than 25 g of added sugar a day, and that men not go over 37.5 g. The high sugar content of Sweet Tarts cuts significantly into the daily sugar allowance for most adults.
