Odyssey is a golf equipment manufacturer that makes a line of putters. These putters are used by amateurs as well as professionals. Odyssey sells its putters with a two-year return guarantee -- if you find a defect within a two-year period of purchasing an Odyssey putter, you can return it with no questions asked. Odyssey released their first putters in 1991, and by 1996 they had claimed 26 victories across six professional tours.

Design

The Odyssey putters are a unique line of clubs that look different from most traditional putters. They feature many unique looking putter heads, some with fangs and others with die cut extensions in the center of the head. With their patented alignment technology, the Odyssey putter has become a top seller throughout the golf world.

Dual Force Product Line

The Dual Force putters are a product line of three different putters -- No. 1, No. 5 and Rossie. These putters have a face insert called the Stronomic insert. The No. 1 putter is a blade style putter. The No. 5 and Rossie are mallet-style putters. These all have a one-shaft offset.

White Steel Product LIne

The White Steel putter has eight putters in its line. There are two categories of White Steel putters. The core models, which are the mallet putters, and the progressive models, which use more modern technology of weight distribution and alignment aids. All the White Steel putters have a common face insert. This insert is large and provides a soft feel at impact. There are three putters offered in the core models, also named No. 1 , No. 5 and Rossie. The progressive models boast three types of 2-Ball putters and two putters that have Saturn Ring Technology.

Price Range

As of 2010, the price of the Dual Force putters averages $89 retail value. The White Steel putters have a large price tag and a bigger price range. The core models are around $119, while the progressive models are between $169 and $235.
