Progresso manufactures a wide range of canned soups, with the numerous varieties divided into seven main product lines: Traditional, Reduced Sodium, Vegetable Classics, World Recipes, Light High Fiber and Rich & Hearty.

Calories

According to the official Progresso website, one cup of Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup contains 100 calories. In fact, Progresso makes more than 30 different soups that have 100 calories or less per serving.

Nutrition

While nutrition will vary depending on the soup, Progresso’s Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup provides 2.5 g of fat, 20 mg of cholesterol, 690 mg of sodium, 350 mg of potassium, 12 g of carbohydrates, 1 g of sugar and 7 g of protein per 1-cup serving.

Types

Progresso’s line of Traditional soups range in calories from 80 calories per 1-cup serving for the Chicken Barley to 210 calories per 1-cup serving for the Potato Broccoli & Cheese Chowder. The Progesso Light line of soups has the fewest calories and ranges between 60 and 80 calories per serving, with the lone exception being the New England Clam Chowder which has 100 calories.
