Akavar is a weight loss pill that promises to let dieters eat all they want and still lose weight. Akavar comes with no diet plan or exercise recommendations. Dieters just take the pills as recommended on the label and they should see the pounds melting off. According to eMedTV, there are no studies to show whether or not the pill actually works.

Anxiety

Akavar includes a number of ingredients that are high in caffeine. According to Diet Bites, these include yerba mate, trimethylxanthine, guarana seed, green tea leaf and kola nut.All these ingredients are stimulants. Combined, these can cause anxiety, nervousness and irritability, muscle twitching, insomnia and tremors. EMedTV also points out that the caffeine in Akavar can also cause jitters and shakiness.

Digestive Trouble

Akavar contains magnesium, which is known to cause gastrointestinal trouble, according to eMedTV. This can include everything from mild nausea to vomiting to diarrhea. Schinsandra Fruit, an ingredient in Akavar, can cause abdominal pain. A few of the ingredients in Akavar have laxative effect, according to Diet Bites.
