How to Lose Weight Fast & Feel Full

You are probably tired of the "eat less, eat better foods" dieting advice, so why not try a different approach. Incorporating a few easy habits into your daily routine can leave you feeling satisfied and help you shed the pounds. Many struggle with extreme dieting to lose weight. If you slightly adjust the way you eat, it will be more feasible to maintain the diet and keep the weight off.

Step 1

Eat frequently. Divide your healthy meals in half and disburse them throughout the day. Ensure you have nutritious snacks available to eat whenever you feel hungry. Carry around a small bag of nuts or cereal when you are on the go, just be sure to limit the amount you carry and eat.

Step 2

Drink lots of water all day long. Drinking water during meals and between meals can help maintain the sense of being full. It will also prevent you from overeating at mealtime. Being properly hydrated is also essential for your metabolism to function at its optimal rate.

Step 3

Don't eat empty calories. Some foods will add calories without the nutritional content such as pizza, fries, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Avoid these foods and select items loaded with nutrients and flavor such as fruits and vegetables.

Step 4

Avoid sugar. Consuming foods with high sugar content will make your blood sugar soar and then crash hours later leaving you hungry and tired. Try to limit your sugar intake by avoiding processed sugars. Eat something naturally sweet like an orange, strawberries, or grapes when you have a sugar craving.

Step 5

Eat slowly. Your body takes at least 20 minutes to realize it is full. Therefore, if you eat too quickly you may surpass your body's limit and end up feeling sluggish and full. In addition, eating slowly can ensure you properly chew your food which is beneficial to aid in digestion and prevent choking.

Step 6

Pay attention to what you are eating. Be aware of the health content of the foods you consume, however, it is also important to be a conscious eater. Do not eat while doing other activities. You generally do not realize how much you are eating and feel unsatisfied when it is finished. Make a point to focus on what you are eating and your mind can make the visual and sensual connections your body experiences while eating. This will leave you feeling like you had a more complete meal.
