Many herbs may be helpful in stopping the bleeding associated with kidney stones. According to the National Kidney and Urologic Diseases Information Clearinghouse, a kidney stone is a solid mass that manifests in your kidney. If a kidney stone obstructs the flow of urine, you may experience extreme pain and blood in your urine. Before taking herbs to help stop kidney stone-related bleeding, talk with your doctor about possible side effects, proper dosage and potential drug interactions.
