Puranol Body Cleanse

Puranol is marketed as a body cleansing and detoxification supplement. According to the Puranol website, the body and immune system can function better when you get rid of toxins in the body. The idea is that the natural ingredients in Puranol can help clean the body to get rid of toxins and therefore the body will work better.

About Puranol

The Puranol system comes in three different pill forms: the 5 Day Cleanse, the Immune Booster and the Carbohydrate Neutralizer. The company markets a starter pack that contains just the 5 Day Cleanse and the Immune Booster. During the 5 Day Cleanse portion of the program you take five pills per day once a month. "Colon Health" magazine says that you take two Immune Booster pills per day all the time except for the one day of the cleanse.

Puranol Ingredients

Puranol's 5 Day Cleanse contains mostly herbal and fibrous ingredients plus digestive enzyme blends. Meanwhile the Immune Booster is made up of mainly vitamins and minerals. "Colon Health" magazine notes that no Puranol products contain ephedra, a substance that has been banned by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. "Colon Health" magazine does warn that cascara sagrada bark, which is found in the 5 Day Cleanse, can cause severe allergic reactions in some users.

Puranol Use Instructions

Puranol recommends beginning the program with a 5 Day Cleanse to clean the body and prepare it for the program. This is supposed to rid the body of toxins, as the Puranol website claims that an average American starts with 5 to 10 lbs. of toxins and waste in his system. This is not seen as a complete fast, but the natural ingredients are designed to clean and empty the system similiar to other flushing products.

Puranol Benefits

The Puranol website claims that you will lose weight, speed up your metabolism and help your immune system on the products. It is important to note that its claims have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. According to "Colon Health" magazine, Puranol is competively priced and users have shown the ability to lose weight on the products. Further, Puranol advises a diet and exercise program to increase the benefits of the pills and that the Puranol product labs are government certified.

Puranol Risks

According to "Colon Health" magazine, Puranol has not received any major poor reviews or had any legal action taken against them or the products. However, "Colon Health" magazine also says that weight loss may be a temporary side effect of the detox system, and you may not be able to keep the weight off when the detox pills are not in your system. In addition, cascara sagrada bark, an ingredient in the cleanse, can cause allergic reactions, according to "Colon Health" magazine. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has not studied the ingredients or the claims in Puranol, so the effects of some ingredients are largely unknown.
