With over 120 varieties, Lean Cuisine products have helped Nestle's Stouffer corner the market for frozen precooked meals and entrees, according to the investment website, Funding Universe. Low calorie, low-cost and nutritious, Lean Cuisine provides consumers with a healthier alternative to typical TV dinners. Stouffer first introduced Lean Cuisine in the 1980s and since then, consumers and especially women have relied on the line of frozen dinners for great taste and low calories.
