Created in 1960, Wobenzym N is a supplement promoted as a combination of enzymes and an antioxidant used in the treatment of systemic inflammatory conditions. Wobenzyn N makers claim the supplement balances the pro- and anti-inflammatory conditions in the body. These claims, however, have not been tested by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Step 1
Discuss taking Wobenzyn N with your health care provider. Before starting any vitamin or supplement, talk about your options with a health care professional. Wobenzyn N has been found to cause problems in patients who are taking blood thinners.
Step 2
Take Wobenzym N on an empty stomach. Wobenzym acts better as an anti-inflammatory when taken on an empty stomach approximately 45 minutes before eating. Wobenzym has less of an effect if food is present, as it will assist more in digestion than as an anti-inflammatory.
Step 3
Use Wobenzym N as instructed. Take two tablets of Wobenzym N, two to three times per day as needed for relief. The recommendation for the use of Wobenzym is to start at one tablet twice a day and slowly increase to the maximum dose.
