Fat
Rice cakes are fat-free, reports MyFitnessPal. Toppings you add to rice cakes, however, may not be fat-free. For example, the Daily Plate notes that 1 tbsp. of peanut butter contains 8 g of fat and 95 calories.
Carbohydrates
Carbohydrates provide the main source of calories in rice cakes. MyFitnessPal notes that a serving of two rice cakes contains 14 g of carbohydrates.
Protein
Rice cakes are not a good source of protein. Each serving of two rice cakes provides just 2 g of protein. And the National Institutes of Health and National Library of Medicine suggest consuming up to 65 g of protein daily.
