How to Use HCG Sublingual Drops

Human chorionic gonadotropin, known as HCG, is a hormone produced during pregnancy by the developing embryo. HCG is commonly used as a fertility treatment, but has also been used off-label in low doses as a weight loss supplement. HCG is available in multiple forms, including sublingual drops, sublingual spray and subcutaneous injection. Consult your physician prior to using HCG sublingual drops.

Step 1

Visit your physician to discuss your interest in HCG sublingual drops. Though very low-dose HCG is available over-the-counter, you must visit your doctor to obtain medical-grade HCG.

Step 2

Store your HCG sublingual drops in a cool, dark place. The drops can lose their potency if exposed to heat or light for an extended period of time.

Step 3

Take the HCG sublingual drops by using the dropper to administer the drops under your tongue. Take the drops in the amounts and at the times specified by your physician.
