Extenze is a male enhancement supplement that claims to increase penis size, blood flow and sexual performance and stamina. The ingredients in Extenze may work through several pathways, including increasing male sex hormones, increasing production of nitric oxide, utilizing natural aphrodisiacs and supplying supporting nutrients to improve ingredient absorption.
Hormonal Blend
Extenze contains 50 milligrams of micronized DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone), a hormone produced by our adrenal glands, and 10 milligrams of the hormone pregnenolone. GABA, or gamma-aminobutryic acid, is an amino acid taken for its calming effect, and it may naturally increase growth hormone production. Extenze also contains 50 milligrams of Tribulus Terrestris Extract, velvet deer antler and korean ginseng extract (10 percent ginsenosides).
Nitric Oxide Blend
For increasing nitric oxide, Extenze contains 12.5 milligrams of alkaloids from yohimbe bark, L-Arginine HCL, horny goat weed and Eleutherococcus extract (.8 percent eleutherosides).
Natural Aphrodisiac Blend
The ingredients traditionally used as natural aphrodisiacs are damiana leaf, muira Puama extract, pumpkin seed, stinging nettle root, astragalus root, licorice extract, cnidium monnier seed, ho shou wu extract and hops extract.
Support Complex
The Extenze support complex includes 400 micrograms of the B vitamin folate, as well as zinc oxide and chelated boron. Black pepper, piper longum seed and ginger root may aid in the absorption of the other ingredients.
