The Facts

When cooked with water, one serving of Quaker Instant Oatmeal provides 100 calories, including 20 calories from fat, according to QuakerOats.com. Ingredients include whole grain rolled oats and oat flour.

Features

One packet of Quaker Instant Oatmeal contains 2g of fat, 19g of carbohydrates and 4g of protein per serving. It also has 3g of fiber. Instant oatmeal provides 75mg of sodium and 105mg of potassium.

Considerations

A food qualifies as a "good source" of a particular antioxidant vitamin or mineral if it provides 10 to 19 percent of the recommended daily intake. A food qualifies as a "high" source if it provides 20 percent or more of the recommended amount, according to the FDA. Thus, Quaker Instant Oatmeal is a good source of calcium and phosphorous and a high source of iron and vitamin A.
