The Kegelmaster is an exercise device used to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. These muscles can get weak or stretched over time and after childbirth. Strengthening the pelvic floor muscles can help stop urinary or fecal incontinence and many believe it leads to more pleasurable sex with stronger orgasms. The Kegelmaster is not difficult to use, but does require that you understand the process in order to ensure your success.
Step 1
Inspect the product. Look over each surface, and then use your hands to make sure there are no sharp edges from manufacturing. Use find grain sandpaper if encounter a sharp plastic edge. Clean the product with warm water and mild soap.
Step 2
Prepare the Kegelmaster for its first use. Unscrew the knob and open up the device. Locate the first spring holder post, nearest the hinge, and notice it opens up into two sections. Place the spring on by first placing it over the post on the same side of the screw. Close the device, making sure the other side of the spring post goes inside the spring. Screw the device closed.
Step 3
Use a water based personal lubricant on the tip of the device. Use your finger to evenly distribute the lubricant.
Step 4
Lay on your back in a comfortable, supported position. Bend your knees and separate your legs. With the device still screwed closed, Insert the Kegelmaster, screw side up, about three inches into thee vagina. Unscrew the knob until you can feel the device open up and press firmly against your vaginal muscles.
Step 5
Perform the exercises by squeezing the device closed and holding for two seconds. Relax and repeat 10 times. After 10 reps, rest for at least 15 seconds, then complete another set of ten. Do a total of three sets of 10 reps each day. If this is difficult, try one set in the morning, one set in the afternoon ad one set at night until you're strong enough to do them all at once.
Step 6
Screw the device shut before removal. Clean the device with mild soap and warm water and store it in the closed position to avoid losing the screw.
