How to Lose Weight Fast With Lemon Juice & Syrup

The lemon juice and syrup diet is an extreme one, but it isn't without purpose. This combination of ingredients serves a few purposes: to reduce your caloric intake and promote a metabolism boost, and to clean out your digestive system. The accumulation of toxins and bacteria in the digestive tract can impair your ability to properly digest food. But the lemon juice diet can also be dangerous if used improperly or for too long.

Step 1

Fill a cup with 8 ounces of water.

Step 2

Mix into the water 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons maple syrup and at least 1/10 teaspoon cayenne pepper (which helps boost metabolism). Add more cayenne pepper if you can take it.

Step 3

Drink at least 6-8 glasses of this solution each day.

Step 4

Consider taking a laxative at the end of the night to help flush out your system.
