Dunkin' Donuts unveiled egg whites as a sandwich option in 2008, the first chain in the fast-food industry to do so. Originally part of a flatbread sandwich, the egg white has found its way into other menu items. The healthier option was released as part of the doughnut-and-coffee chain's DDSmart line of low-calorie, low-fat breakfast items. Dunkin' Donuts does not itemize the calories in each menu item, so determining the calories related to egg whites is difficult.

Oven Toasted Flats

Egg whites appear in two of the menu's flatbread sandwiches. The veggie flatbread contains 330 calories, 110 of which comes from fat. The turkey sausage has 290, with 70 calories from fat.

Oven Toasted Wraps

The snack-sized Wake-Up Wrap combines egg, cheese and meat in a small tortilla. The egg white and cheese wrap has 150 calories -- 30 fewer than the egg and cheese variety. Wraps with meat come in higher on the calorie scale: ham, 160; bacon, 170; and sausage, 250. Each has at least 30 less calories than the regular egg variety.

Oven Toasted Sandwiches

Dunkin' Donuts breakfast sandwiches are available on bagels, biscuits, croissants and English muffins; the latter as the only format with egg whites available. The basic egg white and cheese sandwich on an English muffin has 250 calories. Topping the sandwich with meat takes the calorie level to 280 for ham, 300 for bacon and 450 for sausage.
