Whole foods manufacturers a store brand product line called 365 Everyday Value. Part of this line included two types of pancake and waffle mixes; a whole wheat version, recalled in March of 2008, and a gluten-free product consisting of brown and white rice flour. Instructions for making pancakes and waffles include adding eggs, milk and oil.

Calories

The total calories in gluten-free 365 Everyday Value Pancake and Waffle Mix from Whole Foods equals 170 calories per 1/3 cup dry serving. Adding eggs, milk and oil, as per the instructions, will increase the calories; adding about 54 to 96 calories for each egg, depending upon the size, and about 43 to 73 calories per 1/2 cup milk, depending on the fat content of the milk you choose. Oil adds about 120 calories per tbsp.

Fat

Some of the calories in Whole Foods pancake and waffle mix come from fat. The gluten-free mix contains about 1 g of fat per 1/3-cup dry serving. This fat comes from the buttermilk used to make the mix.
