Leg pain can be the result of a pulled muscle, a decrease in blood flow or other conditions such as restless leg. Leg pain affects your daily life as you need to walk everywhere. Eating foods rich in vitamins B3, E and D may help treat and prevent leg pain.

Corn

Corn is a good source of vitamin E. Vitamin E helps to enhance the circulation of blood flow throughout your body. This vitamin is sometimes used in the treatment of restless leg syndrome, which tends to cause pain in the legs. MotherNature.com says that vitamin E helps to maintain blood circulation if you also suffer from peripheral vascular disease. Vitamin E helps to reduce the stickiness of blood and lowers the chances of blood clots occurring as well.

Fish

Fish is a rich source of vitamin D. According to MedlinePlus, a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine, vitamin D is needed by the body to help absorb calcium, which helps to grow and maintain your bones. Vitamin D also balances the amount of phosphorus in your blood. The Linus Pauling Institute says that low levels of vitamin D in your body can lead to muscle weakness and pain throughout your body, including the legs.

Grains

Niacin can be found in grains such as bread. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, niacin helps to enhance circulation in the legs, which can contribute to leg pain. MayoClinic.com says that upping your intake of B vitamins will help to combat restless leg syndrome.
