ProForm 725 TL Information

Sears originally sold the ProForm 725 TL motorized treadmill through its retail stores in 1998. This model, when it was produced, offered a full 90-day warranty to cover parts and service. Like newer treadmill models, it offers a computerized console to track fitness goals and several workout options. If you experience problems when using this treadmill, either troubleshoot the problems yourself or contact Sears or ProForm for assistance.

Assembling a ProForm 725 TL

The 725 TL's assembly requires two people. Assemble it in a large area where both people have plenty of room to move about. Assembly primarily involves attaching several base extensions to the main base along with the attachments, which includes a book rack and console. ProForm supplies an Allen wrench to tighten all nuts and bolts. Tighten all parts securely before using the treadmill.

725 TL Key Features

This treadmill includes a headband-style pulse sensor to monitor your heart rate throughout your workout. The motorized walking belt moves smoothly because it's coated with a high-performance lubricant at the factory. The console tracks your calories burned, distance traveled, time, pulse and speed. Using the console buttons, you may change the incline and speed automatically to increase or decrease intensity. Seven preset programs offer different interval, fat burn, aerobic and weight loss options to guide you through different workouts.

Common Problems When Using This Treadmill

This treadmill may not turn on or it turns off during use. This problem is often related to not using a properly grounded outlet or surge protector. If the circuit breaker, located on the treadmill's frame near the power cord, becomes tripped, the power turns off immediately. Wait for five minute before resetting it. On these treadmills, the walking belt may come off-center, too tight or too loose. ProForm provides a hex key when you purchase this treadmill to adjust the frame's rear roller bolts and loosen, tighten or center the walking belt.
