How to Take Acnezine at Night

Acnezine is an over-the-counter acne treatment regimen comprised of a medicated cream and an antioxidant capsule. The Acnezine regimen is intended to be completed daily. Time of day is not an important factor with the Acnezine regimen, so it is alright for you to use the Acnezine medicated cream and take the antioxidant cream at night if that is most convenient for you.

Consult a dermatologist before using the Acnezine medicated cream or antioxidant capsule. According to "Clinical Dermatology," some acne requires medical treatment and will not respond favorably to over-the-counter treatments.

Step 1

Cleanse your face with a facial cleanser. Thoroughly rinse off the cleanser and pat your face dry with a towel.

Step 2

Apply a thin layer of the Acnezine medicated cream to the breakouts on your face.

Step 3

Swallow the Acnezine antioxidant capsule with a cup of water. The Acnezine antioxidant capsule should be taken on an empty stomach, so wait at least two hours after your last meal to take the capsule.

Tips and Warnings

  • Cleanse your face with a facial cleanser twice daily to treat your acne. Avoid the urge to cleanse more often than twice daily, which can strip your skin of its natural oils and trigger your body to produce excess sebum, which can lead to worse acne, says "Clinical Dermatology." Apply a moisturizer to your face before any cosmetics. The moisturizer will act as a buffer between your delicate skin and the cosmetics, preventing the cosmetics from clogging your pores and exacerbating your acne.
