Naturtint is an ammonia- and resorcinol-free hair color. It uses plant-based products like soy and oats to provide up to five weeks of permanent hair color and 100 percent coverage of gray hairs. Naturtint has been sold across Europe since 1984. All shades of color include a bottle of colorant, a developer and a moisturizing treatment.

Colorant Ingredients

The colorant gives hair the individual color pictured on the box. The ingredients in the colorant vary depending on the color but most contain oleamine, aqua purificata (purified water), cocamide DEA, alcohol denat (alcohol), propylene glycol, oleic acid, ethanolamine, tetrasodium EDTA, hydrolyzed vegetable protein (triticum vulgare, soy, corn, avena sativa), sodium erythorbate p-phenylenediamine, 4-chlororescorcinol plus other chemicals that create the specific hair color or pigment.

Color Developer Ingredients

The color developer allows the colorant's chemicals to permeate the hair shaft. The color developer contains aqua purificata (purified water), hydrogen peroxide, cetyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, laureth-3, cetearth-20 and oxyquinoline sulfate.

Nutradeep Multiplier

All Nutratint Hair Colours contain Nutradeep Multiplier, a conditioner that Nutratint says imparts three times more strength and volume to hair. Its ingredients are aqua purificata (purified water), quaternium-83, hydrolyzed vegetable protein PG-propyl silanetriol, C 12-15 alkyl benzoate, PEG-10 rapeseed sterol, ceramide 2, butylene glycol, helianthus annuus (sunflower seed extract), PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil, parfum (fragrance), imidazolidinyl urea, benzyl salicylate, hexyl cinnamal and limonene
