Probiotics are healthy bacteria found naturally in the digestive system. A number of clinical studies, such as those described by the California Dairy Research Foundation, suggest that probiotic supplements can benefit a number of health conditions, particularly digestive problems. If your child is experiencing upset stomach or diarrhea, consider discussing the use of children's probiotics with your child's physician.
