The Maynard Nursing Home, at 28 Halton St. in the Portuguese district of Dundas and Ossington, is located in a Victorian mansion. The mansion was built in 1892 by William Levach. It was remodeled in 1961 and turned into a nursing home. It has 77 beds.

Eden Manor
Eden Manor nursing home is at 251 St. George St. It's also located in a mansion, that was renovated in 1994. The building was constructed in 1910 and designed by architect Eden Smith. Although it now serves as a nursing home, it retains much of the original character it had when it was a home.

Kensington Gardens
Kensington Gardens is a 350-bed nursing home operated by Kensington Health Centre. It is located at 25 Brunswick Ave. The facility provides individual rooms for residents as well as therapy and resident activities. There is a short promotional video on its website,
