MuscleTech's Nano Vapor and BSN's No Xplode are two sports nutrition products classified as preworkout supplements. Nano Vapor and No Xplode are formulated to promote increases in energy and strength during exercise sessions. Although the two have similar purposes, Nano Vapor and No Xplode have several differences.

Calorie Content

Calories provide your body with energy. Nano Vapor and No Xplode are low in calories, as the former contains 70 calories per serving, while No Xplode contains 25 calories per serving. If you are dieting, a lower calorie formulation may be preferable. However, building muscle requires a caloric surplus, so a higher calorie product may help,

Number of Servings

Nano Vapor and No Xplode come in containers of 50 servings each. The manufacturers of both supplements recommend using between one and three servings before each workout, but warn against using more than three in a 24-hour period.

Amino Acid Content

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein because they help your body build muscle and other tissues. No Xplode contains fewer amino acids than Nano Vapor. Nano Vapor provides leucine, isoleucine and valine, also known as the branched chain amino acids, which research from the January 2006 issue of the Journal of Nutrition explains have anabolic, or muscle-building, effects.

Caffeine Content

BSN No Xplode and Nano Vapor contain caffeine, a stimulant that a study from the October 2008 issue of Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise explains can improve endurance performance. Nano Vapor contains 100 mg of caffeine per scoop, but BSN does not provide information on the caffeine content in No Xplode.
