For example, there are three catergories for cats by age. One is for cats under one year old and another for cats that are one year old and up. There is also an option for cats over 10 years old. Kittens need more nutrients, such as proteins, than older cats.

The main difference between the Nutrience Diet and other Nutrience products in the presence of carnitine. Carnitine is an amino acid that aids in the process of turning fat into energy.

Nutritional Values

Nutrience Diet is filled with essential nutrients for a well balanced diet. The Nutrience Diet for kittens is 33.5 percent protein, while the version for puppies consists of 30 percent protein. The Nutrience Diet for puppies contains 3 percent fiber while the version for senior dogs contains 4 percent. All versions of Nutrience Diet contain vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E and vitamin C.

Directions

Kittens at 3 weeks of age may begin to eat solid foods. However, they should be moistened to ensure easy digestion. Both kittens and puppies should have food available to them at any time. This guarantees that your growing pet is receiving enough food. However, older dogs and cats should only be fed one time per day. This allows for your pet to burn those calories off so its weight is manageable.
