The NordicTrack Pro was one of the original skier models and was manufactured in Minnesota. It was made before Icon Health and Fitness acquired NordicTrack and moved production overseas. The Pro is no longer made, although you can find used and refurbished units online. It is constructed of steel and oak, with a medium wood stain. You can manually elevate the front legs. The Pro skier folds for easy storage. It has a personal performance monitor mounted to the upper body arm that provides feedback about your workout.

Step 1

Locate the battery door on the back of the console. Slide the door to the left to open it. Insert two AA batteries. Close the battery door.

Step 2

Plug the console wire into the bottom of the performance monitor. Plug the other end of the wire into the jack located on the skier's upright arm.

Step 3

Press the "On/Off" button to power the unit on or off.

Step 4

Press the "Speed" button to show your current speed in miles per hour in the display window.

Step 5

Press the "Dist" button to show your distance in miles in the display window.

Step 6
