If you are always on the go and usually grab a quick bite to eat at one of the many fast-food restaurants, you need not stress about putting on extra pounds from carbohydrate consumption. There are plenty of low-carb fast-food options.
Salad
Many fast-food restaurants have a salad bar or a salad meal you can order. Ordering nonbreaded chicken on top of the salad can provide some protein, and eliminating the croutons will lower carbs. Note that salad dressings do contain some carbs, so those should be used sparingly.
Mexican
Taco shells, cheese, and beef, chicken and beans contain very few carbohydrates. This is a low-carb fast-food idea that is tasty as well as healthy.
Chicken Nuggets
Chicken nuggets without the dipping sauce are low carb. If chicken nuggets alone are not enough to fill you up, order a side salad and opt for vinaigrette dressing
Meat Without the Bun
Hamburgers, fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches and roast beef sandwiches without the bun are low carb. All the carbs from these sandwiches come from the bun.
Chinese
Fast-food Chinese restaurants are popular and offer a variety of dishes to choose from. Many Chinese dishes are low in carbs due to the large amount of vegetables that are used. White rice contains about 4 grams of carbs per ¼ cup.
