Those last few stubborn pounds can be a nuisance. Certain exercises, nutrition and outdoors activities can make those hard-to-lose pounds fall off. Diet.com and body transformation expert Stephen Cabral say to form a healthy habit don't give up; there is no need to do marathon workouts. Do 30 minutes a day and pick things that you enjoy doing. Scheduling exercise, your nutritional plan and doing something outside can help you shed those last few pounds.

Complex Exercises

On Diet.com, Mike D'Angelo, an exercise physiologist, suggests using his "Complex" exercise to remove those last stubborn you want to get rid of. His Complex exercise involves multiple movements in one exercise. This exercise works the biceps, shoulders, glutes, hamstring and the whole leg. You also engage your core and lean it out. By engaging your core, you work on your stability and balance. First, he suggests using 5 to 10 lb. dumbbells, or heavier, if you're able. Start off by balancing on one leg and shift your weight to your heel to engage your glutes. Curl the weights to your chest and press the weights overhead while at the same time stepping back into a lunge. As you step back, lower the weights down by your side, with palms facing inward. Keep your belly in and do 15 repetitions on each leg. Switch and repeat.

Fat-Burning Exercise

Stephen Cabral, a body transformation expert, in a video for Diet.com, recommends his exercise called the No. 1 Fat-Burning Exercise. It is another complex exercise because it uses many muscles and these exercises get your heart rate up to help burn fat. He suggests using heavier weights, around 15 to 20 lbs., either dumbbells or a barbell. The heavier the weight, the more your muscles work and the more calories you burn. He starts you off with a Hang Clean. Lower yourself down and sit back into your hips until you are in a front squat position, with your knees slightly bent. Then, drop the weights down to the knees or a little above. Then, lift the weights to your shoulders, holding them there and going into a Push Press. While you press the weights up above your head, keep your knees slightly bent. Then, bring the weights back to your shoulders and go into a Front Squat. Repeat. Do 10 to 15 reps.

Fiber

Cabral suggests including fiber in your diet for weight loss because some dieters they tend cut out fruits or grains. Raise your vegetable intake, and add natural foods that already have fiber in them, such as almonds. Both men and women should aim for 30g of fiber per day. It will keep you healthy and assist in your weight loss. Cabral says re-introduce natural foods into your diet instead of anything labeled "enriched."

Boot Camps

Boot camps provide a fun, intense and stimulating way to lose the pounds. You may be under the impression you need to be in shape to join a boot camp, but you don't. You can join a boot camp with any level of fitness. Boot camps provide the additional accountability you may need, writes Karen Hawthrone in the "National Post." If you have the last few pounds of weight that you want to get off, a boot camp can give you that extra nudge and momentum because you are involved in a group. The group setting helps your accountability by encouraging your progress and keeping you mindful of your weight loss and wellness goal.
