According to the Mayo Clinic, dizziness can be described as feeling slightly weak or lightheaded. Dizziness that creates the sense that you are spinning or moving around is called vertigo. Luckily, there is a selection of vitamins you can take everyday that can help cure dizziness.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine, is one of the eight B vitamins. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, vitamin B6 helps to reduce dizziness by assisting your body in the creation of several neurotransmitters. These chemicals are responsible for sending signals from nerve cells to the brain. In addition, vitamin B6 is essential for the normal brain growth and function, while also producing the hormones serotonin and norepinephrine.

Vitamin B12

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, vitamin B12, or cobalamin, can be used to help treat dizziness. Vitamin B12 is essential for maintaining healthy nerve cells. It also assists in the production of DNA and RNA. Vitamin B12 helps to improve blood flow to the brain by regulating the formation of red blood cells and ensuring they are healthy, which helps to reduce the effects of vertigo.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D, or the "sunshine" vitamin, is important for healthy bone growth, as it helps the body absorb calcium. According to MedlinePlus, a deficiency in this vitamin can cause osteoporosis, a condition that results in the loss of bone density and may result in dizziness and fatigue.
