Men may suffer from sexual disorders, such as premature ejaculation, low testosterone or erectile dysfunction. Also of these conditions have an effect on their sex life. Many of these conditions are caused due to a number of factors, such as stress or poor blood flow. Luckily, there is a selection of vitamins available that men can take every day to help promote male enhancement. Remember that alternative treatments should never replace conventional treatment. Consult a doctor before increasing an intake of any vitamin or supplement.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant vitamin, helping to protect body organs, tissues and cells from damage that may be caused by free radicals -- unstable substances that are believed to be associated with aging and contributing to the development of numerous health conditions such as heart disease. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, or UMMC, vitamin E can be used to support hormone production if you suffer from a sexual dynsfunction. The UMMC reccomeds taking around 400 IU of vitamin E everyday to promote male enhancement. Vitamin E can be found in sun flower seeds and corn.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C, like vitamin E, contains antioxidant properties and is used to help block damages that free radicals can cause. According to the UMMC, vitamin C can be used to help improve blood flow and promote healthy circulation in the sexual system. The UMMC says that men should attempt to take around 250 to 500 mg of vitamin C one or two times a day. Oranges and citrus fruits are good dietary sources of vitamin C.

Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo biloba is a popular herbal medication. Ginkgo has been used in traditional medicine to help treat circulatory disorders. According to the UMMC, ginkgo assists in improving blood circulation by dilating your blood vessels and treating blood platelets that may stick. Ginkgo may also enhance sexual function in males. Like all other herb supplements, ginkgo goes have a side effect. It may increase the effects of blood-thinning medications so its speak with your doctor before taking this or any herb in general.
