Vitamins are important to your regular diet because they are responsible many body functions. Each vitamin has different responsibilities, and some are used for promoting skin health. Although supplements are available, it's best to consume vitamins through food sources. Since some supplements can interfere with certain medications, consult with your doctor before adjusting your diet.
