Papa John's does not provide the calorie content for a slice of ground beef pizza. However, the company website states that a slice of a large cheese pizza with original crust has 290 calories and 10 g of fat, 4.5 g of which is saturated.

Beef

Adding an ounce, or 2 tbsp. of 85 percent lean meat,15 percent fat, pan-browned ground beef to a slice of cheese pizza provides an additional 72 calories and 4.3 g of fat, according to the USDA National Nutrient Database.

Tips

Choose thin crust instead of original crust and you can save 60 calories per slice. Ask for vegetables on your pizza to get more nutrients. Skip the ground beef to limit sodium and fat. Blot your pizza with a napkin to get rid of grease. Avoid dipping sauces.
