How to Get the Challenge Strength Exercise Open on the Wii Fit

The Wii Fit has revolutionized the way that many people see and complete fitness on a daily basis. Instead of thinking about fitness as a chore, Wii Fit helps you make it an enjoyable game. It tracks your schedule and progress and rewards your dedication to fitness with new games. Wii Fit also has strength training challenges, including the Jackknife Challenge, Parallel Challenge and Pushup Challenge. You can open these by progressing in your training and spending enough time with Wii Fit to unlock your new games.

Step 1

Start the Wii Fit and ensure that your fitness goals are correct. If you haven't set your fitness goals, go to the profile page and enter them. You can entire fitness goals, such as "Lose five points," "maintain weight," or create a set amount of time that you hope to exercise each day. Wii Fit will weigh you to align your goals with your current body mass index.

Step 2

Exit the profile screen and start your workout. You will see four panels with headings that include Strength, Balance, Yoga and Aerobic. By clicking on each panel with your Wii remote, you'll enter a menu that allows you to see the exercises available under any given category. At first, you're not likely to see many games, as you need to unlock your games by accomplishing the existing games for skill and time.

Step 3

Select any game in the Strength category and complete the exercise. Depending on your technique, reps and speed, you will be awarded a points value from one to four depending on how well you executed the exercise, notes the WiiFit.org website. Finish all the strength training exercises, including the ones that will become unlocked as you accomplish others. Once you've finished unlocking all of the exercises, buttons for the 10 Second Workout, 20 Second Workout, 30 Second Workout, 60 Second Workout, 6 Reps and 10 Reps will appear.

Step 4

Complete the various workouts and reps and achieve a four star rating. This may take some practice, as you must execute the exercises in the workouts and complete the reps perfectly in order to garner those four stars. Once you've accomplished a four star rating on all workouts, buttons for the Push-Up Challenge, Plank Challenge and Jackknife Challenge will become unlocked, notes the Game Winners website.

Step 5

Choose your challenge from the Strength menu and complete the game for extra points to test your skill.
