The Lifestyler 8.0 treadmill is an older model, motorized treadmill, designed for residential use. It was sold through Sears' department stores around 1993. The Lifestyler 8.0 has a relatively small 1.25 horsepower motor. The speed range is from 0 to 8 mph. The incline is manually adjustable. You have to stop your workout and get off the treadmill to change the incline. Fold down the handrails when you want to store this Lifestyler treadmill between workouts.
Step 1
Unplug the power cord.
Step 2
Locate the two bolts in the bracket where the handrail attaches to one side of the treadmill deck.
Step 3
Remove on of the bolts and the washer. Loosen the other bolt.
Step 4
Repeat on the other side of the treadmill.
Step 5
Fold the handrails down on top of the treadmill deck.
Tips and Warnings
- Keep the bolts and washers in a safe place.
