Wrestling games may take place on an elevated ring or wrestling mound. You can alter wrestling games by adding obstacles or modifying the playing ring. You may dig a hole in the ground and add water to the dirt for mud wrestling games. Wrestlers may fight against each other inside a pool filled with cooked noodles, body lubricant or another moist element to modify the playing ring.

Traditional

Traditional wrestling games pit two opponents against each other. You must pin both of your opponent's shoulders to the floor mat at the same time to win a traditional wrestling game. Traditional wrestling matches may determine a winner based on points. Judges award points for each action or move that you perform during a game. Traditional wrestling games may incorporate Greco-Roman or freestyle rules. Greco-Roman games do not allow grasping the legs, tripping or using your opponent's legs to perform a wrestling move, whereas freestyle games permit these actions, according to The Mat.

Group

Group wresting games include battle, survivor and relay, or tag-team, wrestling. Battle games pit more than two opponents against each other at the same time. Competitors throw each other over the rope, and the last one in the ring is the winner. Survivor wrestling games pit two teams of four or five wrestlers against each other. These games continue until one team has no members in the ring. Relay and tag-team wrestling games pit one wrestler from each team against each other. Wrestlers alternate with other team members by "tagging in" a teammate, usually by tapping the mat.

Sumo

Sumo is a Japanese style of wrestling. Sumo games include two wrestlers that compete against each other. Sumo game matches may last as long as 10 minutes but may only last a few seconds. You must fight barefooted, and you win by pushing your opponent out of the ring or making a body part other than the soles of his feet contact the mat, according to Japanorama.

Strip

Strip games modify traditional and group wrestling games with stripping elements. Strip games include loser-strips, gown and tuxedo wrestling. The loser must strip his or her clothing in a loser-strips game. Woman fight against each other wearing evening or bridal gowns during gown wrestling games. Men fight against each other wearing tuxedo for tuxedo games. You must successfully tear off your opponents clothing to win gown and tuxedo games.
