All of these vitamins are water-soluble, meaning they dissolve in water and are not stored in the body. As a result, it is important to take these vitamins every day to avoid deficiencies. One-A-Day vitamin makes VitaCraves. This complete multivitamin comes in a gummie form that is flavored and has vitamin C, B6 and B12 . Adults are to take two a day. This product is marketed to support the immune system mainly because it contains 125 mg of vitamin C. The recommended daily allowance, or RDA, is 75 to 90 mg in adults. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that can block cell damage from free radicals. This will make the immune system stronger to fight off infection and diseases. In addition, vitamin C helps wounds heal faster and repairs damage to bones and teeth, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Centrum Cardio

Centrum Cadio has all of the advantages of a multivitamin plus it supports heart health. Specifically, this product features vitamin B6 and B12 for the heart and vitamin C to combat free radical damage. Vitamin B6 and B12 work together to regulate an amino acid in the blood called homocysteine. Without regulation, this amino acid could result in heart disease according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.

GNC Ultra-Mega Active

GNC makes a multivitamin for men and women called Ultra-Mega Active. This vitamin contains the needed vitamins and minerals for daily needs. Vitamin C, B6 and B12 dosages exceed the daily recommended allowances because a physically active person will burn off more. For instance, vitamin C in both types contain 200 mg. This is more than the RDA of 75 to 90 mg. If you are not an active person, do not take this vitamin.
