Exercises for the Tech Rod Home Gym

You can perform many strength training exercises in the comfort and privacy of your home with the Tech Rod Home Gym. This home gym will allow you to train your upper body, lower body and core using its pulley systems. The Tech Rod Home Gym includes different cable attachments that provide different exercise options. Remember to warm up with stretch exercises and wear proper workout clothing when using the Tech Rod Home Gym.

Lat Pulldown

Most Tech Rod Home Gyms include a lat pulldown attachment that works off a pulley system. Begin a lat pulldown by grasping the bar overhand wider then shoulder-width apart. Sit and keep your back straight, eyes facing forward, and slowly pull the bar down to your upper chest. Slowly return the bar to the starting position and repeat for desired repetitions.

Biceps Curls

Tech Rod Home Gyms come complete with handles that allow for biceps curls. Attach a single handgrip on both sides of the bench, take a seated position and grasp a handle in each hand. Keep your back straight as you curl your palms up toward your shoulders. Restrict your elbows at your sides and concentrate on contracting the biceps. Slowly lower your palms to the starting position and repeat for desired repetitions.

Leg Extension

The leg extension is an attachment found in the front of the bench. Sit with your back straight and the pad on top of your legs just above the ankles. Extend your legs up, straightening them, and flex your quadriceps at the top of the exercise. Slowly lower back to the starting position and repeat for desired repetitions.

Chest Flyes

Set up this exercise by attaching the single hand grips on both sides of the Tech Rod Home Gym at chest height. While seated, grasp each handle bar with your back straight and eyes facing forward. Keep your arms rounded as you squeeze the chest muscles and bring the handles in front of your chest. Pause and slowly return the handles to the starting position. Repeat the exercise for desired repetitions.
