How to Lose 10 Pounds Quickly & Easily

Many dieters often hit a roadblock once they set a weight loss goal of 10 lbs. You may not have the time or motivation to spend hours at the gym to lose the weight. You may also have a hard time following very restrictive diets. With the approval of your doctor, you can lose 10 lbs. quickly and easily.

Step 1

Stop eating any foods that are high in sugar and saturated fats. A simple way to drop the weight quickly is to curb fast food, fried foods, sweets and fatty cuts of meat.

Step 2

Cut out the condiments. Condiments and dressings are often loaded with fat and calories. Avoiding these substances can help you greatly reduce your caloric intake. Avoid salad dressing, ketchup, steak sauce, mayonnaise and barbeque sauce.

Step 3

Switch whole milk to nonfat milk. Instead of drinking whole milk or using whole milk in your recipes, use nonfat milk. This type of milk has half the calories of whole milk.

Step 4

Reduce how much bread that you eat. Bread has an average of 80 to 120 calories per slice. Use half the amount or cut out the bread altogether to lose 10 lbs.

Step 5

Watch what you drink. If you want to lose weight quickly and easily, avoid high-calorie drinks, like regular soda, alcohol and fruit juice. Consume water instead.

Step 6

Measure out your serving sizes. For instance, a serving of cereal is typically one cup, but many people pour two cups or more into their bowls.

Step 7

Make time to exercise. Any type of exercise can help you lose weight. Some easy exercises to add to your routine include: parking far away in lots, taking the stairs instead of the elevator and biking to work or school.
