Fat

One large egg contains 5 grams of fat or 8 percent of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) with 2 grams (8 percent RDA) of the total fat being saturated fat.

Cholesterol

Eggs are high in cholesterol with one large egg containing 212 mg (71 percent RDA).

Sodium

One large egg contains 62 mg (3 percent RDA), making it low in sodium.

Carbohydrates

One large egg contains 1 gram of sugar, making it low in carbohydrates.

Protein

Eggs are high in protein with one large egg containing 6 grams.

Vitamins and Minerals

One large egg contains 293 IU Vitamin A, 22 mcg folate, 0.6 mg Vitamin B12, 0.3 mg riboflavin and 0.5 mg of Vitamin E. A large egg also contains 25 mg calcium, 0.6 mg iron, 5 mg magnesium, 86 mg phosphorus, 63 mg potassium, 62 mg sodium, 0.5 mg zinc, 15.4 mcg selenium and 2.4 mcg fluoride.
