Jelqing is a technique touted as a method of increasing the size of your penis. With this method of enlargement, the penis is manually manipulated to draw blood from the base of the shaft to the head of the penis. It's best described as a milking motion, using one hand after another to complete the exercise.
Step 1
Wrap your penis in a hot, wet washcloth to draw blood to the area. Keep the cloth over the genitals for 60 seconds. Repeat two to three times before moving on to the actual exercise.
Step 2
Grab hold of the base of your penis with your thumb and index finger. Tighten your grasp so you have a firm hold around the shaft.
Step 3
Pull down, maintaining a firm grasp, as you guide your grip along the shaft.
Step 4
Pull forward, still maintaining a firm grasp, as your grip moves closer to the head of your penis.
Step 5
Release your grasp and grab hold of the base of your penis with the thumb and index finger of your other hand.
Step 6
Repeat Steps 2 to 5 for roughly 10 minutes each day.
Tips and Warnings
- With jelqing, you can choose to use a lubricant to avoid chafing and discomfort. The Mayo Clinic states that normal penis size is anywhere between 3 and 4 inches when flaccid and 5 to 7 inches when erect.
- According to the Mayo Clinic, no scientific evidence exists that jelqing works to enlarge the penis. This technique may lead to pain, scarring and disfigurement.
