Video gaming is filled with freestyle bike games. Freestyle bike games are available in mountain biking, BMX and BMX tricks. Freestyle video bike games mimic freestyle motocross, also called FMX, letting the player experience big air, rider routines and track racing without the bruises and scrapes. Freestyle bike games come in all levels from easy kids' games to highly skilled 3-D games.

BMX Tricks

The BMX Tricks freestyle bike game is a freestyle video game from Baller Arcade. It takes you through a trick course filled with stairs, jump ramps, grind rails and various hazards on the concrete course. The F and A keys control speed and braking. The arrow keys control turning. Flipping and jumping are done by using the space bar. You score by jumping, grinding and avoiding obstacles. The hardest part of the game is making mid-air flips. BMX Tricks is a beginner freestyle bike game that is fun, but is not an extreme challenge.

XTREME BMX

XTREME BMX is a freestyle bike game for children. The arrow keys move the biker, the space bar is for jumps and the A key is for tricks. There are three difficulty levels: park grinder, shredder alley and planet dirt. The Xtreme trick list uses the A key for barspins, the S key for kick-outs, the D key for superman, the F key for 360 turns and the G key for tail whips. The tracks are simple with jumps, rails, pits and obstacles in the road to avoid. This is a fun game for kids and adults. All three levels can be mastered easily.

FMX Team

FMX Team is a freestyle motocross game that offers a challenge with 15 levels of play. You have a team of three bikers. Each of the team members can perform different tricks. Bikers can even learn new tricks as they gain experience in the game. To move up to the next level, you have to make it to the finish line within two minutes and earn the minimum number of qualification points for each level. The arrow keys control acceleration and which way you lean on the bike. To perform stunts, use the 1 through 5 number keys. This game is suitable for adults and children.

Moto-X Freestyle Bike

Moto-X Freestyle is challenging and uses more advanced graphics and animations. Moto-X is best played with a video card and lots of RAM. The motion graphics use lots of memory and will slow down on your computer if there is not enough RAM. It does not run in Safari because it uses the latest Shockwave player. The arrow keys control motion forward and jumps. Add the X and Z keys to the arrow keys for advanced tricks. You get 5 jumps, played one at a time returning to the start each jump. The game is challenging because it is hard to get points for creative jumps, but it is not a track game and less entertaining than some of the more complex road games.
