Trampolines can be a source of fun for an entire family. To keep from getting bored, there are plenty of games that children and adults can play. Learn a variety of different trampoline games before family gatherings, birthday parties and other get togethers. Be sure the pad covers all of the springs to prevent injury, and add an extra element of safety by installing a safety net around the perimeter.
Add a Trick
Add a trick is where all game participants sit around the perimeter of the trampoline. The first person steps into the middle trampoline and performs a trick. The next person performs the same trick and then they do their own. This cycle is repeated over and over until every player has had their turn. There should be ground rules about the level of difficulty so that no player has to perform a trick beyond his skill set.
Dodgeball
Dodgeball is a fun game on a trampoline that has a safety net. Place four balls in the middle of the trampoline and everyone must start jumping. The goal is to avoid getting hit by the balls. Once a player has been hit 10 times, they are out. Dodgeball continues until there is a single player left, who is the winner.
Pattern Jumping
Everyone sets up a pattern of jumps such as seat bounce, jump twice, pike jump, jump twice. All participants must perform the correct pattern sequence in order. Once a player messes up the pattern, they are out of the game. The winner is the last person who can continuously accomplish the jump pattern without messing up.
Crack the Egg
This is a fun game that does not declare a winner like the aforementioned games. One person sits in the middle of the trampoline, pulls their knees to their chest and wraps arms around their legs as tightly as possible. They are the "egg" that must be "cracked" by forcing them to lose their grip. Other players circle around the "egg" and jump as hard as possible until they cannot hold on to their legs any longer. Once this happens, another participant becomes the "egg" and the game continues until all participants get to be the "egg."
