  • If you do not enjoy the taste of plain water, try incorporating flavors such as a squeezed lime or lemon into your water. Flavor packets are also available; however, these can be high in sugar, which can be detrimental to your health.
  • Drinking water has weight-loss benefits; however, you should take care not to drink too much water. Drinking excessive amounts of water can cause a condition known as hyponatremia, which can lead to serious effects, such as a coma and even death.
