Futsal, also known as "five-a-side" or "mini-soccer," is a game of skill that is played by 12 million players in more than 100 countries. The trademark term Futsal is a combination of the Spanish or Portuguese word for "soccer" and the French or Spanish word for indoors, "salon" or "sala." Legendary soccer players, such as Pele, Zico and Socrates, all grew up playing this game and have credited Futsal for helping develop their skills.

Joma

Joma Sports started producing shoes in 1965 with only eight employees. The Lozano Piso Indoor is made from top-quality calf leather and features Joma's latest technology. Its innovative 360-motion system transfers the foot's rounded profiles to the base on which a step is adjusted, dissipating the force from impact, providing stability and comfort. The bottom natural-rubber outsole has phylon strips inserted to improve flexion. This shoe retails for $49, as of 2011.

Puma

The Puma Company carries a wide selection of Futsal footwear. The "Power Cat 2.10 Indoor Trainers" is made from synthetic leather and has a microfiber upper sole to provide maximum comfort. The hidden laces run up the side of the foot, allowing a smooth kicking surface. This lightweight indoor trainer has a non-marking outsole with an extra-thick rubber bottom, which provides greater control and grip on indoor surfaces. As of 2011, this shoe retails for $70.

Adidas

The Adidas classic style can be seen in its new indoor shoe designs. Adidas' SambaVulc 2.0 is a lightweight shoe made of durable synthetic leather, featuring an integrated midsole that provides maximum stability and cushioning during impact. The non-marking outsole is made of vulcanized rubber, which provides great traction and flexibility. As of 2011, this shoe retails for $55.

Nike

Nike's Air Tiempo Rival IC combines quality and style. It is made from soft full-grain leather and the upper microfiber sole offers a comfortable ride. The die-cut EVA midsole provides shock protection, while the gum rubber helps provide the traction and stability every player need. This shoe retails for $50 in 2011.
