How to Adjust REMstar CPAP

A CPAP provides continuous positive airway pressure to treat sleep apnea, a serious and potentially fatal condition. During a sleep study, trained medical personnel determine the amount of airway pressure you need and your CPAP machine is adjusted accordingly. As time passes, or if you move to a different elevation, you may need your CPAP adjusted to a different setting. While it is possible to adjust your REMstar CPAP yourself, for best results consult your pulmonary or sleep specialist for a re-evaluation of your needs. Adjusting your REMstar CPAP yourself could cause potential injury and/or invalidate your warranty.

Tips and Warnings

  • Wear your CPAP every night and during all naps.
  • Adjusting your CPAP yourself could lead to personal injury, damage to the machine and could void your warranty.
