Fast Food Nutrition Lists for Carb Counting

Fast food menu items are notoriously laden with carbs and fat grams. When you eat fast food, arm yourself with information that helps you make healthier choices. Eat your meal without sauces and avoid bacon and creamy dressings. Skip your order of fries and stay away from breaded and fried dishes to avoid the carbs. When you want fast food with low-carbs, ask if there is a diet menu.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell serves Mexican style fast-food. The food item with the most carbohydrates on the menu is the Volcano nachos with 88g of carbohydrates. Other burrito menu items include the beef Grilled Stuffed Burrito with 80g of carbohydrates, the 7-Layer Burrito with 69g of carbohydrates, the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito with 60g of carbohydrates, the beef Burrito Supreme with 53g of carbohydrates and the grilled chicken burrito with 49g of carbohydrates. The Drive-Thru Diet Menu features low carbohydrate items including the Fresco Chicken Soft Taco and the Fresco Soft Taco, each with 22g of carbohydrates.

KFC

KFC, previously known as Kentucky Fried Chicken, offers customers a chicken-based, fast-food menu. The KFC Famous Bowls -- mashed potato with gravy contains 74g of carbohydrates and the chicken pot pie with 66g of carbohydrates are the menu items with the highest carbohydrate content. The grilled chicken breast, thigh and drumstick contain no carbs. The popcorn chicken, children's portion contains 12g of carbohydrates and the large size has 26g.

Burger King

Burger King presents a fast-food menu dominated by flame broiled beef burgers, salads and chicken sandwiches. Eat a triple Steakhouse XT burger to consume 53g of carbohydrates, a Whopper with 51g of carbohydrates or a double cheese burger for 29g of carbohydrates. The original Burger King chicken sandwich has 46g of carbohydrates and the Tendergrill chicken sandwich has 40g of carbohydrates. Try a Tendercrisp garden salad and consume 38g of carbohydrates or the side salad with 18g. A small order of onion rings has 52g of carbohydrates.

McDonald's

McDonalds cooks-up a menu predominantly lined with variations of grilled beef burgers. It also serves chicken sandwiches and salads, along with other side dishes. Consume far fewer carbohydrates when you order the Angus Mushroom and Swiss Snack Wrap or Mac Snack Wrap with 27g of carbs. Salads contain the least amount of carbohydrates at McDonalds. Try the Premium Caesar Salad with grilled chicken for 12g of carbohydrates of the Premium Bacon Ranch Salad without chicken for 10g of carbohydrates.
