The amount of calories you should consume varies based on your sex, age, weight, height, metabolic condition and level of physical activity. Variety
In order to follow any eating plan for a long period of time, it must not be boring. If you are consuming grilled chicken and broccoli every day, you are likely to tire of that quickly. Not only does variety help keep you interested in eating well, it also increases your chances of consuming plenty of antioxidants. Some antioxidants and other micronutrients are only present in certain foods, and if you are not consuming those foods, you miss out on the benefits.
